This week you will be making and playing a Japanese (or Chinese) den den drum. This drum is sometimes also called a pellet drum.

 

You will be listening to the sound that the den den drum makes, and following instructions to make a drum of your own from things you can find at home. You will watch a video that shows you how to make a cardboard den den drum, or follow a set of written instructions to make a drum using paper plates.
