Today’s Task

Today we are looking at persuasive writing. That means we are trying to get someone to agree with our ideas or, in this case, employ us for a job!

 

Look at the Wanted: Knights advertisement below. Maybe you thought of some of these ideas yourself yesterday.

I want you to imagine that you are a knight applying for a position in my castle. First, tell me why you want the job. Then write down some sentences that might persuade me to choose you!

 

You can use your own ideas, or borrow a few from the sheet and write them into sentences. Add more detail if you can, for example:

 

I go the gym every day and am really strong.

My armour is always sparkling clean because I love polishing.
