• Multi-Sport Day

  Miss Simister & Mrs Batchelor-Ward took pupils from TM and RS to the Haltemprice Multi Sport Day. TM worked as leaders for younger children. Pupils were praised for being 'an amazing bunch' and comments were made about their mature, enthusiastic & sporting attitude. Congratulations everyone!

• Grand Opening

  Staff, pupils, dignitaries, governors, contractors and Local Authority representatives gathered for the official opening of the Riverside School Redevelopment. Our commemorative plaque takes pride of place in the school foyer. We hope to get in touch with parents of ex-pupils who may not have had the chance to visit the school recently. If you know anybody lease ask them to contact us.

• Building Programme Complete!

  We are pleased to announce that our building programme is complete. We have equipped our two newest classrooms for Science and ICT and these are fully operational. We are now looking to expand the number of students in school for Autumn 2020 and have already considered many applications [called consults]. We will advertise for further staff early in the summer term so everything is in place. The outdoor areas will also become a focus once again now that the school is not a building site. We hope to develop the area nearest to the Science Room with small animals and space to grow plants. Students have been sharing ideas at School Council and are already using the outdoor classroom and shade sail area which were both previous suggestions for which we gained grant money from the Clothmakers Foundation and the local Wind Farm Fund.
