Today’s Task

Last week we learned about the parts of a plant and the jobs that they do. Today we will look at this in more detail.

 

Start by looking at the PowerPoint below.

Then test your knowledge with the labelling game.

Next, play the matching memory game with someone in your household.

 

Your final job today is to make a leaflet. The task has a lower, medium and higher level activity – choose the one that works best for you. Remember to challenge yourself!

Slice the first page along the lines. Leave the second page whole so that you can flip and look at the jobs of the different plant parts.
