Today’s Task

Now some of you might still be working on last week’s task of weaving a rainbow using wool. If you are, that’s absolutely fine.

 

But if you are ready for a new challenge, let’s try some ribbon weaving. Any ribbon will do for this job. Maybe you could ask a grown-up if you have any leftover bits in your Birthday or Christmas wrapping box.

 

At school, you’ll see in the photos below that we buy special cardboard frames for our weaving. But a grown-up will probably be able to help you make something similar at home. You just need some stiff card.

 

Watch the video of a weaver using ribbons, then see if you can make something similar.
