Believe Achieve Succeed

25th January 2021

Your next task is to weave a rainbow. It is not a quick job and needs quite a bit of patience. So this paper plate weaving project can be done over two weeks of Art.

Resources

  • Paper plate
  • Blue and white paint
  • Scissors (Check with an adult before using)
  • Pencil
  • String
  • Different coloured wool

If you follow the link below you can watch a step-by-step video that shows you exactly what to do.

You will need to complete the following Step One preparations before watching.

  • Cut a paper plate in half.
  • Paint it light blue on one side. This is your ‘sky’ so you might like to add a few white clouds too.
  • Leave it to dry.

Now you are ready to follow the instructions on the video. You will probably need a grown-up to help you make your ‘loom’ and tie knots.
