Talking and Sharing

Below are three pages of The Paper Bag Princess. Your job is to look at them with your grown-up and see if you can spot the verbs on each page.

 

The verb is the word that tells you what a person is doing. We sometimes call it ‘the doing word’. For example, a person might be running – hiding – laughing – snoring.

 

These are all verbs.

Ask yourself: What did she/he do? It will help you find the verb.
